Flex Programmer - Pune - Knowledge Horizon

We offer a wide range of products in the e-learning domain including off-the shelf and customized e-learning courses, training videos, course building application software, a training management system and a learning management system.

Job Title: Flex Programmer
Location: Pune, India

Minimum Requirements:

Experience:1 - 3 years of experience.

Education:

• Any Graduate.
• B.E. (Computers), MCM, MCS or MCA candidates preferred.

Knowledge:

• Candidate should have good oral and written English communication skills and also strong analytical and logical skills
• Advanced Action Script skills are a must
• Experience in coding in Flex technology
• High level of experience with other Microsoft Technologies including Asp.net - C# or Java
• Should have complete knowledge of Flex-2 component framework, life-cycle and hacks to improve performance extend or trim down.
• Good overall architecture, understands application & Flex Developer
• Good at Skinning & Styling (CSS)
• Knowledge of best practices in Flex/Flash
• Expertise in Macromedia® Flash utilizing Action Script
• Experience with wide range of internet technologies, including Flash Remoting, Flash Communication server, Video Streaming, XML, JavaScript, and HTML.
• Sound knowledge of XML and other related technologies.
• Knowledge of how to make things work across various OS and browser platforms.
• LMS knowledge and implementation of LMS and SCOs through Flex

Skills:
Should have experience in using the following software:

• Flash action script 2/3,
• XML, HTML, MXML
• Java scripting,
• Database knowledge
• OOPs concepts
• Knowledge of C, C++, ASP
• Dream weaver (Added advantage)

Key Responsibilities:

• Flex Programmer is responsible for carrying out the programming activities of a project.
• Understanding Project requirements completely
• Completion of programming task allocated by Technical Lead with desired quality output
• Develop and test the code
• Following Best Practices
• Ensuring deliveries within timeline.
• Responsible for proper and smooth functioning of any process.
• Communication with Technical Lead on daily updates of project
