Position title:  Project Manager / Sr. PM
Reports to: Delivery Head
Location: Chennai

Position Description

Project Profitability – Ensuring key project metrics are met

• Revenue Accrual
• Revenue Productivity
• Development Productivity
• Expense Management
• Project Budget / Gross Margins

Team Management -

• Process Management
• Team Motivation
• Assigning clear and measurable project performance metrics (Quality, Productivity, Delivery)
• Team appraisal / reviews
• Mentoring

Customer / Account Management -

• Ensuring client requirements – implicit and explicit are met
• Growing Account
• Pre-sales support for new opportunities

Risk Management -

• Understand client requirements – implicit and explicit
• Resource / cost estimation and planning
• Project change management (flagging risks to cost and schedule)

Required Skills/Background -

• Should possess about 8- 10 years experience in the e-learning industry. Of which at least 4-5 years should be in a Lead/Managerial position.
• Should be comfortable handling teams.
• Candidates with an Engineering background preferred.
• Candidate should be familiar with the e-learning DLC and should be comfortable handling projects.
• Good collaborator, should able to efficiently interact and communicate with Client, Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and vendors.
• Should be able to handle client calls and all client communication.
• Should also possess excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
  

Other Criteria

• 7-8 years of experience, in e-learning Industry ,of which 3-4 yrs in Project management
• Good understanding of quality process like CMM, ISO and SCROM and e-learning DLC.
• Good communication and should be a good team player
• Working knowledge of any skills like writing, ID or Flash programming.
  

Education/Certification Required

• Any Graduate
