Job Description
As a technical writer your job responsibilities would involve developing quality content for e-learning courses as well as technical documentation. Needless to say, proficiency in the basic rules of English grammar and composition and the style issues related to writing e-learning and technical content. In addition, you must also have an eye for detail and be a team player since you will be actively involved in the production of courses.
Job Profile
An ideal candidate would be a graduate/post graduate with a strong academic background and proficient in:
- English language (with good writing and communication skills)
- Grasping new technology independently
- Creating and chunking content
- Visualizing / illustrating the storyboard for e-learning courses
- Researching and analyzing content
- Creating Help files
- Gathering information independently from SMEs
- Creating relevant assessments for the course
Prior experience in e-learning/ technical writing would be an advantage. Candidates with less experience and excellent written and spoken English language skills can apply for the position of Trainee Instructional Writers.
