Company Profile - Type i is the content services division of Jasubhai Digital Media, which has in its fold Digit — the largest circulated IT magazine in the country. Type i offers content solutions to numerous organizations in the United States, United Kingdom and Asia. The content services offered by Type i include Creation of courseware and CBT/WBT, technical documentation, courseware conversion, graphic design solutions, product communication, and technology solutions for content delivery and development.

Web Developer

We are looking for a highly motivated, thorough and professional developer to join our development team. You will need to have 2-6 years experience in web development and a proven ability to work with Microsoft Server-side or LAMP technologies and build data driven web sites. You will also need to have a solid grasp of HTML and other client-side technologies and a broad understanding of internet technologies and culture as a whole.

Required Skills:

• Microsoft ASP.NET / PHP
• Microsoft SQL Server / MySQL
• HTML, CSS and Javascript
• Sound understanding of OOP 

Knowledge of UML will be an added advantage.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Working within the Web Development team, you will be responsible for the development of web based applications and building the back end functionality required for B2B and B2C digital solutions, marrying functional and design requirements into a finished solution.
• Your role will involve some client facing activities, so proficiency in the English language and a professional, presentable and personable demeanor is essential.
