Knowledge Horizon has opened a branch in Pune, India to develop e-Learning courseware for training adult and K-12 learners.

Job Title: Flash Developer
Level: Officer
Nature of Employment: On Payroll
Location: Pune, India

Minimum Requirements:

Experience:

  • 3 - 4 years of e-learning experience.
  • Must have experience in developing e-Learning courseware using Flash applications, XML, HTML, JavaScript

Education: 

  • B.Sc in Computer Science or equivalent

Knowledge:

  • Must have sound knowledge of developing interactivities for e-Learning courses
  • Should have a sound understanding of softwares used in developing and delivering e-Learning courseware
  • Should be aware of SCORM, AICC, and other standard platforms used in deploying e-Learning courses
  • Practice in developing Flash templates to enable faster production and linking of courseware
  • Should be able to interpret requirements accurately in order to develop and deploy content effectively
  • Should be able to analyse and develop programming standards and processes that ensure effective production in a team
  • Can think of creative solutions that help in automating production and deployment
  • Has experience in giving adequate support to address usability issues

Skills:
Should have experience in using the following software:

  • Flash MX, ActionScript 2.0/1.0, CSS, OOP, Authorware, XML / XSL, Javascript, HTML, DHTML, Web layouts, Dot Net, PHP, ASP, JSP, Dream weaver (Added advantage), Macromedia Captivate (Added advantage)

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Ensuring SCORM 2004 compliance for all e-Learning courses
  • Developing e-Learning courses using Flash and XML
  • Creating and updating Flash templates as per requirement
  • Researching new technologies to get updates on latest tools, applications, methods and concepts relevant to e-Learning design and development
