Position Purpose:
- This position is responsible for managing a team of Developers - Art & Media.
- This team will be involved in development of interactive, self-study courses including activity development/simulation development using Hands-on/Minds-on template and the development of animations using the animation template.
- Ensure the deliverables are completed as per the scheduled time, meeting all defined visual styles and standards, as well as ensuring the graphics, animations, and ILT increase the users learning experience.
Personnel Management:
- Managing Developers to implement process, style, and standards in the development of course materials
- Collaborate with head quarters based in Rochester in ensuring the projects are completed as per requirements
- The development and adherence to the processes and standards used to ensure all web-based training courses maintain a high standard of quality
- Coordinate and work in tandem with other managers in Art & Media in Chennai and Rochester.
- Ensuring resources are aware of and meet project deadlines.
Project/Production Management:
- Weekly/Monthly/Quarterly Administrative Reports.
- Miscellaneous Projects.
- Working within firm deadlines, many times with minimal resources
- Finding appropriate talent based on course needs
- Ensuring all styles and standards are adhered to.
- Ensuring the resources are fully utilized
Required:
- Minimum 2 years of team leadership involving client interaction and development of varied deliverables
- Minimum 1 year in a creative development/individual contributor role in Information Technology/Graphic Design/Web Development
- Ability to grasp industry standard graphic, video, audio and Internet applications, tools and concepts
